Telling you these things should sound the alert that YOU NEED TO READ MORE on this site. You asked us a pretty basic question that some searching and watching the daily posts by regular members for a couple of days could easily answer. Read back the past few days (ahem, fourzero's posts), and you'll see a plethora of info. Search mods, go to Z events, and you'll know what you're getting into. Us simply informing you that we don't believe you know how deep you'll be by diving into a Z project headfirst, which most of us who are responding have, is simply our way of warning you and telling you to get prepared for what to expect. You say you're prepared, but asking the question alone begs to differ. We're not taking shots at your manhood; we're simply screaming "Heads Up!" because the Z is a thick project. Many of us love these cars so much that we actually want to drive them, hence telling you to go to stage IV-VII and enjoying the ride as opposed to having a dyno queen that ran once last year and hasn't run since because it's sitting in pieces in your garage. I salute you for being mechanical and doing the work yourself, but the headache of working on a Z (imho) far surpasses that of a Benz. Take care of your Z, baby her, and built her in a way that she'll be reliable for years to come, and you'll never be happier. Unless you really want a dyno queen, in which case you can join the Supra club or buy a corvette.
Cheers, JBrobst
